RVU Remote Viewing Unit – Blog

In May 2010 we held an intensive 5 day Remote Viewing Training Course.

We had wonderful students there who were all blown away by the results they had and what they had learned in those five days. Rick and I were asked to go out to dinner with the group on the last day of the training. We kindly accepted that offer.

From the group of seven students some had other obligations and we ended up with four of our students in a nice little Polish restaurant called ‘Rembrandt’ in Perth. We’d like to thank Stephen, Dhiya, Azure and Dave for the wonderful dinner. We missed Pav, Nigel and Michael. We sure hope to see you guys at the next meet-up in Perth!

I recently asked several magazines for their prices for advertising as we are trying to get the word out there that we give Remote Viewing Training in May 2010.

Since Remote Viewing is not only based on scientific protocols but also a helpful research tool, we considered putting an advertisement in one of Australia’s most popular science magazines ‘COSMOS’.

Instead of providing us with the advertising rates, they came back with the following reply!

”Dear Sandra,

Thanks for your interest in Cosmos Magazine.  I have checked into remote viewing and the content is not something that would be relevant to our readers; they are interested in science not in the paranormal. 

I wish you all the best for 2010.

I kindly pointed out to this person the publication in the IEEE proceedings of 1976 by Hall Putthoff and Russell Targ. On top of that the researchers from Princeton University, the University of Amsterdam and several private institutions working on Anomalous Cognition, Consciousness and other related fields.

I also pointed out that we have personally trained doctors, engineers, designers and other well educated professionals in the skill of Remote Viewing and that they now use this skill in their work!

It is very disappointing to find that Australia is 34 years behind on the scientific developments, while the US, China and several European Countries have made very important progress in this field.  There is apparently still a taboo on this subject in Australia.

 This taboo results in a distorted view of what science is actually about!

I give up on people who have already made up their minds that this field is not science. They are actually just as biased as those who take anything for granted!

COSMOS –The Science of Everything!!

Well…The science of everything is pretty selective as it excludes certain science that interest 80% of the population, but not the COSMOS readers!

The Movie ‘The Men who Stared at Goats’ will be in the Australian Cinema’s in March 2010. Now of course we would not be ’Remote Viewers’ if we had not have a preview of this!

It is an absolute must for all those interested in the history of Remote Viewing, Remote Influencing and other Military Mind Programs and those who want to have a laugh.

This film is based on the story of the journalist who created the documentary ‘ Crazy Rulers of the World’.

He discovered that the US military were into researching and developing ’strange techniques’ that appeared more like to ’weird science’ and was simply too incredible for words…funny thing is… the truth at times… is stranger than fiction.

But it is the ride of your life!

It definately made great material for a good laugh!

The Men who Stared at Goats Trailer

This Sunday, the 3rd of January 2010, we had a wonderful Meet-Up in Perths’ Kings Park Botanic Cafe. With at least 15 Lemon, Lime & bitters (Sorry no 8 Martinis LOL) to stay cool during this hot summer day and 5 Remote Viewers around the table.

We discussed our New Years resolutions in relation to Remote Viewing and what actually motivates us to DO Remote Viewing. It seems that the Practical Application of Remote Viewing is most appealing to us all and one of our friends suggested (joking) that GETTING PAID for session work would motivate him. Fair enough… it motivates most people to do work when they get paid to do it. We all agreed on that. It is a simple and natural flow of energy…you put a lot of work (energy) into it…you hope you will get something (energy) rewarding out of it.  

Eventhough he meant it as a ‘joke’, it turned out to be an interesting topic of discussion. Of course you do not get paid for all the practice sessions you do, but normal work (LOL) should be paid for Professional Remote Viewers.

We also discussed the quality standards, the quality of training and how to improve the quality in general.

We all agreed that ‘Group Participation’ and ‘Social Events’ are a very important motivational factor to continue developing as a Remote Viewer.

The group was very curious about our training in the USA with David Morehouse and how it would change our future classes. We found there was little difference in terminolgy, so in that regard the training will virtually stay the same, but some procedures were slightly different from the method we have previously taught. We do not say that any procedure is better than the other, as it turns out to be mostly a (personal) preference and it has little to no effect on the end result.

We do advise anyone who has a serious interest in Remote Viewing to buy the David Morehouse ‘Handbook for Coordinate Remote Viewing’. This is an excellent book and can be used as refence material for those who would like to learn Remote Viewing.

We have decided that we will use the book as reference guide and we will add our practical  knowledge of Remote Viewing to that, in the form of a manual during our 5 day Remote Viewing Training Course.  The David Morehouse book will definately be part of our training material.

We talked about what topics would interest THIS particular Meet-Up group.

The interest was mostly; learning different RV methods, community aspects of Remote Viewing and ways to get ‘instant or quick feedback’. We have acknowledged the issue of ‘Quick Feedback’ as it is a major factor in the learning process of Remote Viewing and are currently developing a system that will accomodate for that.

Some issues Remote Viewers encountered were; Confidence or (Self-Confidence), Keeping the Focus and Creating the Time (priority setting).

Another motivating factor for doing Remote Viewing sessions is learning something new about ‘interesting targets’. Now the definition of an ‘interesting target’ depends on the person’s interest, but it is definately a motivating factor we want to look at and we would like to address the different interest of the group.
